Professional Experience
Yoni Petel is an associate in McMillan's Corporate and Debt Products groups. He is developing a practice focusing on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, secured transactions, asset-based lending and project finance.
Yoni joined McMillan as a summer student in 2008 and completed his articles with the firm. Prior to joining McMillan, Yoni worked in the residential construction industry for 5 years as a licensed general contractor and sales manager. He also spent one year working as the lead advocacy and community relations professional for the Quebec office of a prominent national human rights organization. He has held and continues to hold several leadership positions with various charitable organizations.
Yoni was decorated with the Canadian Medal of Bravery.
