Representative Transactions
Steve has acted for public and private companies and entities, primarily in the industrial, technology and real estate sectors, with respect to all corporate and securities requirements, including financings, acquisitions, sales and reorganizations. Some of his recent work has included:
- As part of the team representing Great Canadian Gaming Corp. to establish a C$200 million revolving credit facility and a US$170 milion term loan and to issue US$170 million senior subordinated notes for gross proceeds of C$600 million, February 2007.
- Representing Continental Minerals Corporation in its merger with Great China Mining, December 2006.
- Acting for Empower Technologies Corp. in its offering of 3.1 million units for a gross proceeds of $7.1 million.
- Providing counsel for SPIRE Real Estate Limited Partnership in a number of offerings.
- Canadian counsel to a corporate group with respect to several US bond financings.
