Professional Experience Patrice Beaudin is a partner of McMillan's Financial Services Group. His practice is focused on corporate finance, including domestic and cross-border syndicated financings, securitizations, leases and leasing. He routinely acts for both lenders and borrowers in a variety of debt financings. Patrice is listed in The Best Lawyers in Canada 2012 as a leader in Banking and Finance Law and Structured Finance Law.

Recent transactions include the financing of a publicly traded distributor of wholesale building products by an asset based lender, the financing of a privately owned distributor of petroleum products and securitizations of car loans. Before practising as a lawyer, Patrice practiced as a Chartered Accountant.

Acted for a privately owned manufacturer and metal dealer company in connection with an $80M acquisition and related facility
Acted for a privately owned company in connection with an $110M credit facility
Represented an asset-based lender in connection with aggregate facilities of $200M made available to a publicly traded diversified building products distributor and processor specializing in the wholesale distribution of lumber and panel products
Acted for a publicly traded manufacturer of plastic products in connection with aggregate facilities of $32.5M in the context of a corporate reorganization
Acted for corporate purchaser in connection with purchase and financing of a private jet
Involved in the Quebec aspects of securitization transactions of car loans (of approximately $1,800M) and receivables of manufacturing concerns
