Professional Experience Marc-André has been practising in McMillan's corporate restructuring group in Montréal since 2002, he was named partner in 2007.  Marc-André has vast experience in all corporate restructuring matters.  He is the author of numerous publications relating to insolvency and often presents on this topic at conferences. His practice encompasses the transactional aspect of restructuring, as well as Court representations relating thereto.  Marc-André acts for financial institutions, creditors, debtors, trustees and monitors in the context of restructuring conducted under the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act, the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Canada Business Corporation Act. He has acted for interested parties in several of the leading restructuring cases in Québec and Canada over the years, such as Mega Brands, White Birch Paper Company, General Motors, Quebecor World, AbitibiBowater, Allarco (Superchannel) and Mecachrome International.
