Professional Experience
Julia Loney is a member of the Corporate & Commercial and Energy practice groups in McMillan's Calgary office.
Julia's corporate practice focuses on a broad range of matters, including financing, public and private offerings, reorganization transactions, mergers and acquisitions, drafting and reviewing agreements, and corporate governance and compliance matters.
In her energy practice, Julia advises on a variety of oil and gas matters, including acquisitions and divestitures, farmouts, joint ventures, title due diligence and estate issues. In addition, she advises energy clients with regards to environmental and aboriginal issues related to energy projects.
Julia is currently pursuing her Master of Laws degree in Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law, expected in 2014. She is an active volunteer in her community and is a board member of the Bow Habitat Station Volunteer Society. Julia is also enthusiastic about the arts and remains active with recreational sports.
