Elisa Henry is a member of our Business law practice group. Her practice focuses on information technology, intellectual property, commercial contracts and public procurement. Elisa advises clients on a wide range of commercial issues and drafts complex license and distribution agreements; she is also occasionally involved in international arbitration and litigation files. Elisa serves clients in various industry sectors, including information technology, telecommunications, media, aeronautics, retail, chemicals, health care, pharmaceuticals, and professional services, among others.
Prior to joining McMillan, Elisa practiced in international law firms based in Paris and was then Executive Director of McGill University's Centre for Intellectual Property Policy. She also taught private international law and international arbitration law within the eGovernance masters program from École Polytechnique de Lausanne.
Elisa is a member of the Paris and Montreal Bars. She is also a Registered Trade-Mark Agent in Canada.
Elisa is a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and the Canadian IT Law association (IT.Can). She acts as liaison agent for the Paris Bar in Montreal.
