Professional Experience Cindy Wan is a partner in the Toronto office of McMillan. She practices primarily in securities law, with an emphasis on investment funds (public and private) and alternative investment products. Her work includes private placements, corporate financing transactions, stock exchange listings and mergers and acquisitions. Cindy has extensive experience in the establishment of innovative structured investment products including linked notes. She regularly provides advice on general corporate and regulatory matters, particularly in the area of privacy law and compliance. Cindy has acted as Canadian advisor to numerous foreign companies in the implementation of employee incentive programs, including leveraged employee share offerings featuring third party financing and employee investment guarantees.
