Professional Activities
Tony Knight is experienced in all aspects of real estate acquisition, development, including land assemblies, subdivision, related financing and leasing of residential, recreational, commercial and industrial properties both from Canadian and offshore viewpoints. He has developed significant experience in negotiating and finalizing large and complicated transactions, including the structuring of real estate joint ventures.
Tony has acted for developers from the initial stage of acquisition and through the development approval process (including work with governmental, municipal and other regulatory authorities), subdivision or stratification and sale.

Representative Transactions
Tony's recent representative transactions on behalf of his clients include:
- Represents West Fraser Timber Group in all of its real estate related matters in British Columbia.
- Acted for eight different development groups in the Kootenay Lake region in British Columbia completing residential and recreational subdivisions including resolution of environmental issues, Land Title registrations and REDMA compliance, January 2007 – December 2010.
- Acted on behalf of a purchaser in its purchase of a large regional shopping centre in Richmond, British Columbia for C$32 million, February 2007.
- Acted on behalf of Investors Group Trust Co. in its purchase of a shopping centre in Richmond, BC for C$37 million August 2006 and in its sale of an office building in Vancouver, BC for C$45 million in December 2010.
- Acted on behalf of Georgia Basin Ventures in its sale of a tract of development land to Bill's Development Group in Squamish for C$37 million July 2006.
- Acted on behalf of Columbia National Investments Ltd. in its purchase of three large tracts of development lands on the Sunshine Coast from A.J.B Investments Ltd. for C$32 million June 2006.
- Represented the developer over a 12 year period in implementing the largest subdivision in Western Canada, known as Westwood Plateau.
- Represents a Vancouver based developer in its acquisition of development sites since 2007 to date including an acquisition in September 2010 for $37,900,000.
